Our client is an entrepreneurial company in the highly competitive and changing consumer retail industry. We’re seeking an outstanding Finance Business Partner to support the CFO by preparing detailed financial models for business segments, drive business initiatives, and identify, implement, and document key internal controls.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Our ideal candidate will have worked 5+ years as a finance leader in an entrepreneurial company with world class processes.

You　should be comfortable in using advanced business analytics, including business modeling, what-if scenarios etc. and a track record of improving financial processes, automating tasks, providing insight regarding financial performance, and ability to present and defend ideas in front of senior and executive leadership.

More important than any of those skills and prior experiences is the attribute that you have an extraordinary level of personal initiative and proactivity, ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities at once, a work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectations, have strong bilingual (J/E) communication skills, both in written and verbal form.

A proven ability to manage, mentor and motivate small teams will be needed for this role a well.  An MBA and/or CPA and/or CFA desirable, but not required.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Currently based in Japan and/or have valid working visa in Japan.
• Preferably at least 5 years of HR experience.
• Recruiting/Headhunting, Project Management, and/or Sales experience helpful.
• High business level English (verbal & written).
• Japanese language skills helpful.

• Pro-active, has self-initiative, and out-of-the-box thinking.

 REQUIREMENTS TO BECOME AN AFFILIATE

• Satisfy the above-mentioned qualifications.
• Attend our three-day intensive recruiting boot camp for future HireRight™ Consultants (which includes the one-day Harrison Assessments Accreditation Training on the last day) to learn the HR Central KK way of professional recruiting.
• Conduct 10 "shadow interviews" together with experienced HRCKK consultants.
• Prepare 10 Candidate Profile Reports using HRCKK CPR template.
• Agree and sign the HRCKK Affiliate HireRight™ Recruiting Consultants Agreement as well as our Confidentiality Agreement. 

HOW IT WORKS

• BASIC PHILOSOPHY: "First, we'll train you, then we'll hire you!"
• Become an accredited Affiliate HireRight™ Recruiting Consultant (refer to the preceding section).
• Get search assignments from HRCKK and successfully fill those positions using the HireRight™ methodology and following HRCKK's quality standards.
• Earn commission fee starting from 30% of the total placement fee!
• Work at your own pace, style, and schedule and enjoy the financial freedom this opportunity may bring you!
• And, depending on your performance and your general aspirations, you may join HRCKK as one of our full time HireRight™  Recruiting Consultants and become part of an elite, dynamic, and winning team in the recruiting industry in Japan!

ABOUT THE POSITION

Just like CNN reporters, this position will be "embedded" within the business unit's environment so that you can closely work with the people and ACTUALLY running the business instead of crunching numbers and calculators in a corner desk table in the office.

Of course, you are expected to be responsible in handling  day-to-day financial matters including (but not limited to) P&L/ BS management and all that stuff for the business but more importantly, you will be expected to DRIVE and GROW the business through the wise (but ethical) use of your financial prowess and numerical insights and help the business to make informed financial and business decisions!
